Purpose of the website

This website provides information about CPD Sussex, including upcoming events, workshops, professional development opportunities and networking activities.

It also provides ways to contact us, suggest future events and enquire about contributing as a speaker or facilitator.

Information on this website is intended for general educational and professional development purposes. It should not be treated as a substitute for clinical, legal or other professional advice relevant to your circumstances.

Access to the website

We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the website where necessary.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the website remains available and operates correctly, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that it will always be free from errors.

Events and bookings

Bookings for CPD Sussex events are managed through Eventbrite, an external event registration and ticketing platform.

The event organiser may be New Road Psychotherapy or Connexus Institute, depending on the event. The relevant organiser will be identified on the Eventbrite listing and will be responsible for the contractual arrangements associated with that event.

When registering for an event, you will be directed to Eventbrite to complete your booking and, where applicable, make a payment.

Registrations are subject to the relevant Eventbrite terms and any additional booking conditions specified by the event organiser.

Event details, including dates, times, venues, speakers, content and fees, may change where necessary.

Submitting an enquiry or expressing an interest in an event does not guarantee a place. Where registration is required, your place will be confirmed through the relevant booking process.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund arrangements vary depending on the event and its organiser.

The applicable cancellation and refund policy will be provided on the relevant Eventbrite listing before you complete your booking.

If you wish to cancel a booking or request a refund, please follow the instructions provided through Eventbrite or contact the relevant event organiser.

If an event is cancelled, postponed or significantly changed, the event organiser will contact affected attendees with information about the available options, including refunds or alternative arrangements where appropriate.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights or any refund entitlement under applicable law or Eventbrite's requirements.

Contact and enquiry forms

Information you submit through our contact or enquiry forms should be accurate and relate to you, or to someone you are authorised to represent.

Submitting an enquiry, suggesting an event or expressing an interest in speaking at a CPD Sussex event does not create a contractual relationship or guarantee that a proposal will be accepted.

We aim to respond to enquiries within a reasonable period.
